MOTION
I’ve designed various bits of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
GRAPHICS
FOR DUNGEONS & DRAGONS
I designed and animated all of the motion graphics for a video about why you should play D&D.
FOR ASTRO
These short videos were made from posts by video game influencer Jordan “CaptainSparkles” Maron, who was partnering with ASTRO. I was asked to edit them down and add graphics reacting humorously to what the host was saying. They lean into the “language of the internet”. (Best with the sound on for context)
Video 1, wherein Jordan teases that something is going to change…
Video 3, wherein Jordan wonders if ASTRO actually used his car as a color guide…
Video 2, wherein Jordan reveals the new headset…
Video 4, wherein Jordan says he actually likes his new headset.
FOR EXTREME NETWORKS
A few very quick video/audio stings for getting in and out of internal videos for a large technology company.
FOR BLUE MICROPHONES
A small sampling of a huge set (in all aspect ratios) of short videos I was asked to make from static assets.
FOR TEDX BATH
A sampling of a group of short video edits of TedX Bath talks for their Instagram channel.
FOR ASUS YOUTUBE
Similar to the videos for ASTRO, I was asked to add an overlay of fun - a “playful layer” - to these hosted videos of gameplay. (Perhaps I’m developing a reputation for adding an editorial layer of humor to these kinds of things? ) Below are edited versions (just showing the GFX ) of these normally longer videos. Again, this kind of thing seems to work well with design using the “language of the internet,” so i find myself doing things i wouldn’t normally do, like stretching text, using emoji, etc, and leaning on repeated visual tropes, like listing, or charting things, scratching text out, and having things move quickly into frame and out almost too fast to even see…
FOR REBELLION YOUTUBE
Again, just like the videos for ASUS, I was asked to add an overlay of fun - a “playful layer” - to these hosted videos of gameplay. (Perhaps I’m developing a reputation for adding an editorial layer of humor to these kinds of things? ) Below are edited versions (just showing the GFX ) of these normally longer videos.
This is an edited GFX cutdown of a full video here.

OTHER BITS OF MOTION
This was an internally-facing Dialect update, where i pretended to be a chair. It’s a long story. There are many inside jokes.
